Hi I'm Anne

I am from Idaho. I am an artist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an illustrator. I like to sing and perform in musical theatre. I like to dance classical ballet. I like learning to cook by challenging myself to try my favorite recipes. I love to explore my talents. I find that even though I am not extraordinarily gifted at one thing, I have joy from the many things I have learned to do over the years. I love my dog Sophi =)

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the church since I was eight, the age of baptism in our church. As a little child, I often felt my heart burn with joy and peace when I did something that I knew Jesus would do, like being honest, sharing, and getting along with others. As I have grown I have learned that things aren't always so simple and I don't always want to do what my Savior would have me do. Becoming an adult is hard and frustrating, many challenges come up that are unforeseen and very painful. It is in these trials that my faith, understanding, and testimony of the truth of this church has blossomed. I know my Savior loves me. I know this is his church because my heart still burns with peace and joy when I obey his commandments. In using the atonement, I have felt freedom from all of my imperfections and sins. Obedience to his laws have become a joy, not a burden. In nurturing my relationship with him by prayer and study, I have come to know and love myself better, because I see his spirit in me. I am humbled that Christ, who has command over all creation, still cares and takes time to listen and counsel with me, a sinner. I love the Savior, I love his church. This is my ever growing testimony, in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

How I live my faith

I will be serving an eighteen month mission for the church starting in a few weeks. I feel Christ's love when I am serving his children.
