Hi I'm Patrick

I was born and raised in the Memphis, TN area. I have a beautiful wife and 5 terific kids. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I'm dad to 5 great kids; 4 boys and a girl. I graduated from Pepperdine University with a degree in Educational Technology.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was considering joining the Church, one thing that persuaded me that this was the true Church was a strong love and acceptance towards those of other religious beliefs. I was also amazed at the level of quiet, non-publicized service conducted by local church members. This is clearly out of love for others rather than "headlines." I was also impressed by unpaid clergy. Every member is needed and every member who is able is willing to serve--not for money but for the love of the gospel and love of our savior, Jesus Christ. Ok, I know I've listed a lot of reasons but, just one more--family. This Church is strong in its beliefs about the central role of family both in this life and in eternity. How great it is to know that those we love and cherish today can be with us forever. I guess when I really listened to what the church was all about from the church rather than outsiders, it just became clear to me that it was and is the truth. Try it and see.

How I live my faith

I serve in the church as an assistant clerk for finance. This includes record keeping and assisting members with tax statements and tithes. My wife serves as a leader for the young women by teaching lessons and organizing activities. With 5 kids, theres always a fun activity to keep us all engaged with learning and growing in the gospel.
