Hi I'm Stauney

I'm a Utah born, adventure seeking, art, music and photography enthusiast. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

From a very young age I had a love for art and design. It came to some use in recent years and I have loved developing in the career of graphic design and enhancing my skills in painting and photography. I'm a frequent visitor of obscure concerts for artists only found in the deep confines of Spotify, I dabble in photography because I find beauty in the simple moments of life, I love books and travel and know way too much about all the newest selections on Netflix. I'm the only girl out of 4 kids and I'm currently serving in The Great Ohio Columbus Mission as a full time representative of Jesus Christ for 18 months.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this is the same organization Jesus Christ established and the one that our Father in Heaven intends all his children to be a part of. The blessings of the temple, the priesthood and a living prophet are only available here. I came to this knowledge at a young age. I grew up in the church and faced a crossroads at age 14-16 where I had to decide for myself if I truly wanted to believe in this religion anymore. After some sincere scripture study and a lot of pouring out my heart to God, I received a confirmation that this is the truth. Joseph Smith was a prophet. He restored the only true church once again to the earth. I am a daughter of a Heavenly Father who loves me. I continue to be a Mormon because I know that in the true church, all the blessings of Salvation and happiness are available to me. I choose to share it because I desire for all of God's children, my brothers and sisters, to find that same lasting happiness.

How I live my faith

I find my faith in the smallest acts of kindness and service from strangers, friends and family. Its those moments when you share a smile with a stranger, shed some tears with a friend or laugh uncontrollably with a family member that remind you that we are all children of a loving Heavenly Father and we should treat all of those around us like the important and valued beings that they are. I live my faith my cultivating the smallest seeds of faith, scripture study, prayer and church attendance. They have become the foundation for which I am able to accomplish the love I need for all of those around me, and the breath of fresh air I need on the hardest weeks.
