Hi I'm Mackenzie

I live in Provo, UT and attend Brigham Young University. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love music and play the piano for fun. I have two older sisters and one younger sister. I grew up in Grayslake, IL (northern suburb of Chicago). I love movies, brownies and the gospel!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it was the religion I grew up with at home. After leaving home to attend school, I could've stopped going to church and left the religion altogether. I didn't because through the years I had gained a testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel. The logicality of the doctrines and the Spirit I feel as I worship has kept me coming back to church every week for more.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending my church meetings and doing my duty as a daughter of God. By reading my scriptures and saying prayers daily, I bring myself closer to God. I live my faith by loving the people around me whether or not I have the same standards or beliefs as they do. I live my faith by working hard to do the right thing even though it might be hard.

Who chooses the Mormon prophet?

Our Church is Jesus Christ's Church and is run by Him. He chooses the next prophets and presidents of the Church. Show more Show less
