Hi I'm Nathan

I'm from the San Jose, California. I like motorcycles and cryptography. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in California. I come from a large family of 11 children. I moved to Utah to go to school, and I met my wife here, so we've decided to stay a while. I have a degree in Computer Science, and I like cryptography and database engineering. I used to ride a Honda 919, but I don't have a motorcycle anymore. Now I spend my free time with my wife and my baby girl.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a Mormon family, and I've always felt that living the teachings of Jesus Christ have kept me safe in this wild world. I know that our Heavenly Father loves us and wants us to be happy. About a decade ago, I took two years to share the gospel in Australia and met many people from very different backgrounds from all over the world. I know that every one of us is important to our Heavenly Father. I try to treat each person I meet with respect and honesty. I know I'm not always very good at that, but I know that it is possible to repent and be forgiven because of the Atonement of Jesus Christ. He knew that we would frequently fail, and he wanted us to have hope knowing that if we will turn to him, everything is possible. We can try again to be better each day and make a real difference in the world. I may not change the world all at once, but I can change the world for the few people that I meet even if only for a few minutes.

How I live my faith

I help out at church as a technology specialist. I've spent time running network cables in the local chapels so that our members can take advantage of the online resources while at church. I help some of our members who are less familiar with the new online tools to learn how to use them. I've spent a lot of time teaching Sunday School classes to both adults and children. I love to share the experiences that I've had with living the Gospel of Jesus Christ and how it has made me a better person.
