Hi I'm Nikki

I play many sports, but I have a passion for rugby. I love learning about how I can keep my body healthy. I'm a mormon!

About Me

My name is Nikki! I have been a member of the "Mormon" faith my whole life. I played sports like Rugby, Volleyball, Basketball, Track and Field, Swim and Dive, and Cross Country throughout my high school carrer, and nominated athlete of the year every year, and finally won my senior year! I still enjoy playing all these games even though I've finished school. I am currently working as a Dental Assistant, but plan to serve a mission come April. I couldn't be more thrilled for this opportunity to strengthen my testimony and grow, as well as bring others unto the fullness of the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ in the Mexico, Guadalajara mission!!

Why I am a Mormon

Many people think that those brought up in the Church only go to church because their parents go, however what happens when these people grow up and are on there own? I moved out right our of high school to go to College. I was a 15 hour drive away from my parents and sibling. At this point I could have easily slipped out of the habits that I had developed, things like going to church and church activities throughout the week. My parents wouldn't have even know. I couldn't rely on the testimony of my parents, but of my own. I made a commitment at this time to develop my understanding and knowledge of the church so that I could know for myself that all the things I had been taught were true. I studied the Book of Mormon more thoroughly and prayed before I studied. I developed a strong testimony of the power of prayer. If anyone ever has a question or concern about Christ's church, I strongly recommend taking it to the Lord through prayer, and he will answer you no doubt. If you don't ask your teacher a question in class, do you suppose your question will be answered?

How I live my faith

I serve as ward missionary in my Young Single Adult ward (YSA). This provides me more opportunities to meet many other ward members and become familiar with my surroundings, as well as meeting and welcoming new visitors and those investigating the Church.
