Hi I'm Melissa

I play the flute and saxophone, love hanging with friends, camping, skiing and being with my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi! I'm Melissa. I have been assigned to serve a full-time mission in France. I enjoy playing the flute and alto saxophone as well as hiking, camping and participating in scavenger hunts! I am currently a student studying public health. I hope to one day attend optometry school. I love to be around my friends and family. I have two older brothers and a corgle dog who are my best friends and I am a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been taught about the Gospel of Jesus Christ my entire life. The spirit had testified to me that what my parents taught me and what I learned at church was true so I made the choice to be baptized after my eighth birthday. Since then I have continued to strengthen my testimony. I know that God and Jesus Christ love me personally just like they love every one of us. I am so grateful to be a part of a church that allows me to repent and be forgiven of my sins. I know that the atonement of Jesus Christ is real and that is why I continue to follow His teachings.

How I live my faith

I currently attend church with other young single adults. To help us become more united as neighbors and friends I help plan and organize activities. The activities I plan are fun, uplifting and all-inclusive to best help us to get to know one another and to invite the Holy Ghost.
