Hi I'm Brad Christensen

I have a wife and four boys. My wife and I run a charity building homes in Tijuana, Mexico for the poor. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of four boys. My wife and I have been married for 27 years. We like to run triathlons, hike, surf, swim, ski, garden and build things. Our family motto is: "Together is Our Favorite Place." We also love going to Tijuana Mexico with the charity we run called Spark of Hope Foundation. We have lead many trips and taken hundreds of people to serve the good people of Tijuana over the past 13 years. We are always blessed by our association with our neighbors in Tijuana.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I am a Mormon. I believe that God is our Father in Heaven and that Jesus Christ is His son and my brother. I believe that by believing in and following Jesus Christ's example and teachings that I will be able to return to live with my Father and my Brother, God the Father and Jesus Christ, for eternity. What's more, I believe that the happiest way to live my life now is to follow Jesus Christ. My life is not one of sacrifice and submission but one filled with joy and happiness. I do of course have sorrows and disappointments but the Gospel of Jesus Christ gives me strength and perspective to endure difficult things and the ability to fully embrace the beautiful and joyful things in life. I study the teachings of Jesus Christ in the Bible and The Book of Mormon and love to read other books about Christianity. I have also read the Koran and the Teachings of Buddha. I believe that as people become aware of God and learn that they are His children their lives are changed forever. As we work to bring our lives in harmony with God's will and his desires for us, our lives will be more meaningful and joyful.

How I live my faith

I love to work with youth in our church. It is important and rewarding to me to help young people to find themselves and to understand that they are children of a loving God. I am a witness of the power and reality of the atonement of Jesus Christ. I love to help youth find this same connection to God.
