Hi I'm Joseph Breton Hill

I am an Optomitrist Assistant and a martial artist. I enjoy all types of sports and am from Caliornia. I’m a Mormon

About Me

I enjoy martial arts. I specifically practice the DanZanRyuu style of Jujutsu and am currently a 3rd brown belt in the school. This style puts emphasis on protecting your own body, so we first learn how to roll and fall safely. It is a very broad style and incorporates many other types of martial arts. Control is important. I was homeschooled throughtout my highschool life and had the priviledge to take classes at the community college. After graduating from highschool, I finished my Transferrable Associates Degree with an emphasis on the Japanese language a semester later. I work an an Optomitrists office as the assistant and receptionist. I have worked there for three years and enjoy both the work and the people. I play the guitar and piano and prefer to both play and make music that is both emotional and soothing. Although I cannot read sheet music very well, i have the ability to listen and find the proper notes to play. Music has been a large influence on my life. I am nineteen and am preparing to serve a fulltime mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and have had loving parents who have taken great care of me. Even though i have had doubts as i have grown up, I found that when I live my life according to the morals that i have been raised with, I am a genuienly happy person. The morals and standards i have are some that i have had since birth, but I know that they are right and true and that they make me an honest and clean individual. The Book of Mormon has been an inspiration and a learning instrument for me and has many lessons to teach. The members of this church truly love and care about me and those i bring to activities and it is truly a blessing.

How I live my faith

I am currently a full time missionary. I am preparing myself to teach the gospel and I study each and every day. I find learning both the gospel and the language incredibly fun and exciting.
