Hi I'm David

I'm a web-comic enthusiast, a video game nerd, an amateur artist, an Eagle Scout, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Where to start? Well, I'm a bit of a nerd. I love video games, movies, books and comics. Chances are if its out there and I haven't experienced it personally then I've at least heard about it! Of course there is so much out there to check out it can be kinda hard to balance that with being responsible sometimes, but I try. When I'm not busy checking out my favorite bit of entertainment or doing something actually important I usually dabble in drawing, or plinking around on the piano, or trying to put a story of my own together, or some other project. Though to actually call myself an 'artist' or 'musician' or 'writer' is probably a stretch at this point, but you don't learn by not trying!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I was raised in the Church and I've had the chance to see first hand God's hand in the life of me and my family. I've read the Book of Mormon and the Bible and know they are the word of God, and that he continues to speak to us if we will listen to him. I've seen that God loves all of us and that is why he calls prophets, both in the past and today! And that by following their words (especially from the living prophet) and seeking God's guidance I can find my path through life. But more than all that, I've prayed and asked for myself if these things are true. And I know without a doubt that they are.

How I live my faith

For the time being I am serving as a Missionary in Georgia, volunteering 2 years of my life in the service of God to help anyone and everyone I possibly can. Although I look forward to being home and pursuing my own hobbies and goals in life I know that I am doing what God would have me do at this time, and I know that he is watching out for my family in ways that I never could by myself.
