Hi I'm Nicole

I grew up in Saskatchewan, Canada. My family joined the church when I was 5. I'm a mormon

About Me

I am from Canada and currently living in Pennsylvania, USA. I am married to a rad husband and together we are raising our baby boy. We are students. My husband is going to school and I am currently at home with our baby. I love exploring, learning, road-trips, photography, crafting, baking, the zoo, and most importantly, my family. I have a big family all over the US and Canada. I love them very much. I believe in Jesus Christ. I know that He lives and that He loves me.

Why I am a Mormon

My family joined the church when I was 5 years old. I was baptized when I was 8. I didn't always understand the gospel. My family went to church on and off throughout the years until I was 15 years old. At that time, my sister started learning the gospel and decided she was going to be baptized. While the missionaries were teaching her, I felt the spirit. This feeling helped me to understand what the missionaries were teaching. I knew that the church was true and that there was no going back. I have a testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I have come to know that the church is true by the feelings in my heart. These good feelings are of the Spirit. They have helped me to understand that the Gospel is true. I know that my family can be together forever. Heavenly Father loves me. I know this because I have prayed to know for myself. I have a beautiful son. He is a child of God. I know that we are all children of a loving Heavenly Father. He has a plan for us. I am happy because Jesus Christ came to the earth to fulfill a plan, not just for me but for you too. This is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I enjoy serving in my community. I studied in the field of human services. I have worked and volunteered extensively with people with disabilities for over several years. I also have made it my passion to understand peoples who are vulnerable, experience hardship and various challenges. I have a desire to serve others in any way that I can. Through church organization, members of the church have the opportunity to serve in different areas of responsibilities. These responsibilities are called callings. I have been blessed to work in a variety of areas from working with little children in primary as a leader for over 3 years to being a ward missionary by helping the missionaries meet new people. In another calling I have helped organize christmas, halloween, and various events. My current calling is to visit other women in my church monthly, organize baby meals and be a ward missionary. One of the ways my family and I live our faith is by attending church every sunday and partaking in the sacrement. The sacrement represents Christ's Sacrifice for us known as the Atonement. I show my faith by taking the sacrement every week and renewing my promise to follow him. We also love to attend other sunday school classes. Everyday we try to read our scriptures together as a family and say our prayers daily. These are a few of things that help us to live and develop our faith.
