Hi I'm Bethany

I am a mom. I am a wife. I am a blogger. I love to write, craft and crochet. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the Mormon church, but was converted to the gospel after I moved away to go to college. I have three sisters, who I love with my whole heart, and wonderful parents. I found my husband while at college and we married in the Salt Lake City Temple. I graduated in journalism soon after. Four years later, our son was born. He is an incredibly happy baby, and I thank my Heavenly Father daily for allowing me to be his mom.

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel has done so much in my life. We have been blessed with employment through this difficult time in our country. We have been blessed to have our health. I know that these are blessing that our Heavenly Father has bestowed on our family. I have an unshakable testimony in tithing. There have been months when there simply was not enough money to pay for everything, yet, with tithing paid, we found ourselves with money left over. I have a testimony that He loves us, individually. That our meager concerns are of great concern to Him. I have experienced comfort and His arms reaching out to lift burdens from my shoulders. I also know that He requires work on our part, and when we do the best we can, He more than makes up for our weaknesses. He can heal our souls, but also heal our bodies and minds in miraculous ways. Through our Savior's infinite atonement, we can literally forget about our past transgressions and move forward. I choose to be a member of this gospel because I have found great happiness within it, great love from my Savior and Heavenly Father, and a purpose to my life.

How I live my faith

In our church, my husband and I are called to teach the little ones, ages 18 months to 3 years of age. It's a challenge; I have no experience with kids, except for my one. I try my best and turned to my Heavenly Father to make up the difference.
