Hi I'm Clay Ellis
I'm a student, a missionary, and I'm a Mormon.
I have always loved technology. I love what it enables us to do and to find new applications for technology. I used to work for Apple before starting school at BYU where I studied computer science. I love making things—food, models, paper airplanes, programs, whatever it might be! I've spent half of my life in Texas and the other half in Utah. I love to ski and have bonfires in the canyons near my house. Right now I'm a missionary serving in Montréal Canada speaking French.
Why I am a Mormon
I was born into a Mormon family and so some might say that I never really had to make the choice for myself to be a Mormon or not. I did in fact, however, choose to live my faith! I am a Mormon because I believe and know the doctrine taught in the Church to be true. I have prayed and seen the blessings of the gospel in my own life. Nothing makes me happier than knowing that Jesus Christ lives, that he Atoned for our sins, and that we can live with God again. There is a plan for us! And that plan has brought me peace in today's world!
How I live my faith
The Church has always been a part of my life. Over the years it has meant more and more to me as I recognized the importance of living with faith especially in today's world. I live my faith by simply practicing what I preach. I've volunteered multiple times to serve on youth councils and in various positions in the Church and comminuty.
