Hi I'm Kenneth

I'm a Junior at high school in Carlsbad, California. I am a mormon.

About Me

I like reading and writing, and I'm a pretty good student at my local High School. I really enjoy learning about history, and some of my heroes from history are George Marshall (Army Leader, WW2), Winston Churchill, and John Adams. I'm going to start college in about two years, and I'm feeling really old and a litte wierded out that I'm so old now (16)! I did Track and Cross country at my high school but I'm kind of over all the pain now so I stopped running. I have four older sister, and one younger brother, and I really enjoy having all of my siblings around when we get together. It's a little sad now, becasue we barely see each other now that we're older. I'm looking foward to go on a mission when I'm 19 too.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family of Mormons, so I was kind of raised in the faith. However, even though I was raised in the church, I didn't really decide to put God 1st in my life untill I was around 14. I've found so much joy in putting God 1st in my life, becasue only when I put him before everything else was he truly able to bless me. I've prayed to know if the church was true in prayer, and I was told that it was by my Heavenly Father through the Holy Ghost. I felt incredibly peaceful. I know that this church was true, and I really urge and hope that anyone reading this will ask God if it is true, because he will let you know that it is. I'm really glad that I've had Christ to lean on in my life, and he has helped me in every part of my life.

How I live my faith

I go to church every sunday, and I meet every day with boys who are my age and we have a gospel lesson given to us by our teacher. It's a lot like sunday school, and I really enjoy learning about Christ and his message. I also find a lot of happiness and joy when I go to church and I feel closer to my Saviour. I also get a lot of happiness from serving others in a church capactiy; we often do service projects and I also serve as a hometeacher to different members of my church in the area. Hometeaching is basically what it says; teaching members at home and making sure they're doing ok. I also live a moral and clean life in and outside of church, and try to help at other people at my school who need a little help. I really have learned to love helping others.
