Hi I'm Jeff

I was born and raised in California. Currently I am an orthopedic surgery resident in Pennsylvania.

About Me

After finishing undergrad at BYU in zoology, I moved to Missouri for medical school. After medical school, I moved to Pennsylvania for residency in orthopedic surgery. I married my beautiful wife in 2004, and we now have three wonderful children. Aside from working, I enjoy water-skiing, playing and watching sports, cooking and comic books.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to a family who was devote to the mormon faith and grew up knowing the importance of the savior Jesus Christ because of the testimony and example of my parents. I was baptized as a member of the church when I was 8 years old. While my parents taught me correct principles, they never pressured me to make certain choices but allowed me to make choices for myself. Growing up I had many sacred experiences that lead my to know of the truthfulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ and the restoration of the gospel in this era of time. At 19 I chose to serve a mission and was assigned to the Bilbao, Spain mission. There, my faith was strengthened, and my understanding of the gospel and the Lords plan for us grew tremendously. Everyday I give thanks to my Heavenly Father for the many blessing of the gospel and the peace and happiness it has brought into my life.

How I live my faith

Currently, as a church member in Pennsylvania I have the blessing and opportunity to go to church weekly an participate in church activities and meetings. I have a firm belief in home teaching (visiting other families and members of the church) and the blessings it can bring to our lives. I read the scriptures and have family prayer everyday to help keep me focus and bring peace and the spirit of the lord into our home.
