Hi I'm Kevin

I grew up outside of Las Vegas with my parents and 7 siblings. I'm a PhD student studying Physiology. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy learning and the outdoors. I'm a PhD student studying Physiology and Developmental Biology. As part of that I work in a lab studying how cancer spread from one place in the body to another and how that can be stopped. In my spare time I camp, hike, and rock climb with my wife. I also enjoy doing research, whether that's reading papers on DNA regulation or looking up the latest backpacking tents.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a Mormon. It bring simplicity and perspective to my life. As the World becomes increasingly more hostile to families and religious values, the Church provides an imperative support that help us stay focused on the things that are most important. This brings peace to my life and brings a protection to my family that is increasingly hard to achieve in a turbulent world. I know that God cares about me and my family, as he cares about every individual and every family. God has provided a way for all to achieve this protection and peace through His church.

How I live my faith

Central to my beliefs is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Being Mormon is about trying to live the principles that Christ has taught. It's my hope that this evident in the way I live my life.
