Hi I'm Lori

I'm a Law Student..and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am in my final year of law school and I am loving every minute of it. Although law school is tough, I try to live my life in the most balanced way possible. I try to make time for those things that make me happiest, including exercising regularly and taking care of my health, doing activities that help me build relationships with others, and finding ways to strengthen my testimony.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents joined the LDS church shortly after they were married. I was raised in Church, and am very grateful for that experience. My parents were not perfect people before joining the church, and they still are not perfect people now. Neither have they raised perfect children because of their involvement in the LDS church, but I am grateful for the changes that living gospel principals has brought to their lives and to my life. Our family is more loving and Christ-centered because of our involvement in the gospel. I am a Mormon because I recognize that the gospel makes us happy and because it helps guide us to be more perfect people. We recognize that we can become more and more like our Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

Living my faith is not a segmented component of my life. Living my faith is not something I have to schedule into my calendar. I live my faith in everything I do---it guides the decisions I make, the words I choose to say, the thoughts I entertain.
