Hi I'm Andy Lundquist

I work for an agricultutal lending firm, I enjoy spending time in the outdoors with my wife, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a simple kind of person. I love to spend time with my family and friends and enjoy being outside. I grew up on a farm with a big family and there was always something to do. Never a dull moment when when you have 7 siblings. I am married to the most wonderful woman I have ever met in my entire life. I consider myself lucky everyday. She nad are great friends and love to spend time with each other. I graduated from college at Brigham Young University-Idaho. I have a bachelor's degree in Accounting. I work for an acricultural lending firm that provides fincaning to farmers and ranchers in the Northwest. I love what I do because it allows me to associate with great people who work very hard to provide a living for their families and food for the rest of the world. Some things I enjoy to do are horseback riding and waterskiing in the summer and skiing and snowmobiling in the winter. My wife and I usually go on a horseback ride every week in the summer. Most of the time we end up high up in the mountains and the views of the Grand Tetons are amazing. I usually volunteer with the local ski school in the winter to teach to young children in my community how to ski. It is always a lot of fun. I love my family very much and even though I do not have children of my own I hope to one day. I have 7 neices and nephews that mean the world to me. I am grateful to know that families are forever.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I truly do know that the gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored to the earth. I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true church and the principles taught by the church contain the fulness of the gospel. I know that one day I can return to live with my Father in Heaven and with my family for eternity because of the restored gospel. I know that the Lord has called a prophet in our modern day, just as in days past, to teach and guide us through this life. I know that being a Mormon has made me happy and my family happy. I know that these things are true not because I have been taught but because I prayed and the Spirit confirmed to my heart and mind the truth. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by being a good neighboor, brother, husband, and friend. I may not always succeed but I try. I spend my Sundays in reverence by attending church and avoiding activities that would take away from the sacred nature of the Sabbath. I attend the temple as often as I can. I strive to live the covenants that I made with the Lord at my baptism by serving those around me and volunteering in my community. I work with the youth every week as a leader in the mutual and scouting program. I served a two year mission for the my church in Ecuador in the Guayaquil North mission. I spent every day for two years trying to share the happiness that is the gospel of Jesus Christ with all the people I could. To this day that is the biggest reason for the way I live. Many people accepted the gospel during my time as a missionary and I try to live worthy of that.
