Hi I'm Lika

Im Samoan, I'm the third youngest of ten children, I'm from New Zealand. I'm A MORMON!

About Me

Im full samoan and come from a big family with ten children; seven sisters and three brothers! all my older siblings have their own families now, In my family im the third youngest.I love hanging with family and friends, I'm a big fan of rap, hip hop and reggae music my favourite bands are Bone thugs n harmony, 2pac and Fiji I'm the only Mormon in my family, I was baptised 3rd March 2011.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a convert :) I was introduced to the church through missionaries whom I randomly met on the street. I mainly agreed to meet with the missionaries because I didn't want to be rude so I arranged a time. My first meeting was so powerful and informative I learnt a lot about the Mormon faith and what the missionaries were doing. I had many questions and continued to have lessons for the following months. I felt my faith and testimony of Heavenly Father and the restored gospel grow, having lessons with the missionaries was the highlight of my week!. The more I continued to meet with them and other members I knew that I wanted to get baptised. On 3rd March 2011 I got baptised and since then I have tried my best to abide by gospel principles and to develop Christ like attributes. I'm a Mormon because I know that Joseph Smith did restore the fullness of the gospel, the same church that Jesus Christ established when he was on the earth has been restored. I know that Heavenly father has blessed us with a living prophet to help us return back to him. I've read the book of Mormon and it truely does testify of Christ. I report to MTC in 10 days to serve as a full time missionary- I have a testimony of the restored gospel and I want to share the blessings of the gospel with all those I come in contact with.

How I live my faith

In my ward I serve as the YW second counselor I help in teaching sunday school lessons and supporting my youth spiritually. I live my faith though the way I act and treat others I do my best to be modest in my dress, to treat others the way I would like to be treated and to be respectful of my self and others. I live my faith by reading the scriptures and trying to abide by the principles taught. I try to be nice to all I come in contact with
