Hi I'm Miriam

I’m a consultant, a mom of four children, a wife to my best friend and I feel very blessed. Life is wonderful.

About Me

I am fascinated by technology solutions. I enjoy reading and love being outdoors in the sunshine, particularly the beach. My secret passion is creating—whether it is a solution in technology that makes life easier and more efficient for those I work for or designing an interior in rich texture, color, and style (my favorite is traditional, but frankly-- I love all styles of design) or even designing and creating new clothing. If I can use my imagination to create something beneficial, beautiful, or take on a challenge that stretches me to my limits I am in Heaven. I was raised by two amazing and religious parents. They valued family and took great pride in creating a loving home for our family and teaching us Christian principles.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? Because I have read the Book of Mormon. The words within its pages are true. I love the accounts of Christ’s life and the teachings that are found in this book and the Bible. Our Father in Heaven is real—He loves each one of us and He wants us to be happy. The greatest happiness in my life can be directly attributed to the knowledge I have that there is a God, that our Savior atoned for us personally, and that someday we can return to live with our Father in Heaven and our families. It just takes living the best we can one day at a time—following Christ. It’s not easy. I wish every day I didn’t make mistakes and I work to change and to try to follow the teachings of the Savior. Ultimately I will fall short of being the person I know I should be but this is where our Savior’s incredible love and his sacrifice can bless us-- to lift us beyond what we are capable of becoming. Through the power of the Atonement we can work each day to become more like our Savior. I challenge you to read the Book of Mormon. Pray about what you have read to know for yourself. I promise you that if you do so with sincerity, you will know.

How I live my faith

I have tried to “pay this forward” by striving to be a good mother, raise an amazing and incredible family, and to instill in our own family Christ’s teachings and the kind of individual he would want us to be. I wish everyone in this world could have a loving mother and father who made them feel appreciated, loved and respected and taught them of the Savior and of our loving Father in Heaven who is aware of his children.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Miriam
Families are an integral part of God's plan. We are children of our loving Father in Heaven. He wants us to grow, experience life here on earth and to learn. Just as we were a family before coming to earth, God has given us the opportunity to live in families here on earth and to have the privilege of creating our very own family. It is within the family structure that we can learn, grow, support one another and learn to follow the Savior. Mothers and Fathers are important in God's plan and each play an important role in God's plan. Men and Women each have unique qualities that combine to create a unique learning environment for members in a family. If we each work to follow the Savior and strengthen and support one another, we will all be blessed. It's like a dream team for success when applied according to God's plan. Someday we will return to our Father in Heaven. We have agency here on earth to choose how we will live while it's our time on earth. We have a choice as to how we treat all of God's children and we have a choice to follow the Savior or to reject him. The choice is ours alone. Show more Show less
