Hi I'm Aiana

I'm a filipina, I'm a friend, I'm a daughter, I'm a hairdresser and an esthetician. I'm a Mormon!!!

About Me

I was born in the Philippines and moved to Canada in 2004. I do not like Canadian Winter but i am grateful for the freedom that this country gives. The freedom to worship God and go to church. I love to sing and dance. I love playing with hair and making people pretty and handsome (well I do try :). I love spending time with family and friends. I love adventure and trying exotic food. I'm preparing to serve and to be a an ambassador of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Peru.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a mormon but this doesn't mean anything. I to have to know for myself if The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true. I was probably about 15 or 16 when I received the confirmation that the Book of Mormon is the most correct book on earth. That a Prophet of God, Joseph Smith restored the church. I am also a mormon because of the example that my mother has shown me. Just like the story of the Helaman stripling warrior in Alma 56: 47-48 "I do not doubt [my] mother knew it". Because of her faithfulness and obedience I now experience a vast amount of blessings. I now know who I am, where I've come from, what I am trying to become and these are enough to make me happy. I am grateful for that example. I am just an ordinary person just like everyone else is, but I do know that I am a daughter of God. I have a testimony of Jesus Christ that he lives! The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints have help me become the person I am today. I can not think what my life with be without it. I would be lost!

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith everyday as I try to become like my Savior Jesus Christ. He is the best example of how we should live our life. He loves everyone, he likes to have fun, takes the time to listen, his kind, temperance, etc. I'm always grateful for a brand new day as I once again try to follow Jesus Christ. It is my greatest desire in this life to be a reflection of Christ, that I might let his light shine through me. I read the Book of Mormon everyday. I go to Church. I attend institute. I live my standards up high, I do not smoke, i do not drink alcohol, coffee, or tea. I do not gamble. I dress modestly so that when I stand beside my Savior, I am comfortable and respected!
