Hi I'm Katie

I'm a wife and a mother of two sweet little boys. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

The most important roles I have are wife and mother. I've been married to an amazing man for five years now. We have two adorable little boys. I went to school to become a special education teacher. I have been blessed to be able to stay at home and raise my cute little boys. I love spending my time playing cars and trains and anything else that can come to a little boys imagination. I wouldn't miss them growing up for the world. During nap times I enjoy reading and crafts. I like to take walks with my boys and going to the park. I grew up on a farm and feel blessed that my parents taught me the value of hard work. One of my favorite things to do is spend time with family. I love going to Sunday dinners with my parents or my in-laws. I love family traditions and holidays.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because I believe it to be the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. I have studied the teachings of the church and prayed to know if they are true. When I have done this I have an overwhelming feeling of goodness come over me. I also see how my life is improved by living the teachings of the church. I am a better wife and mother and find great joy in life by living the teachings of the gospel.

How I live my faith

I think a very admirable quality is to live what you believe. I see this trait in many people I know of various religions. I try to develop this quality by studying the scriptures, learning from the example of my Savior and trying to apply His lessons in my life. I try to see how I can serve those around me. I seek for guidance in raising my boys and making decisions in my life through prayer. I also have the opportunity to serve the youth in my ward. I help plan activities for them once a week and prepare lessons to teach them during Sunday meetings. I love working with the youth and trying to help them accomplish their goals.
