Hi I'm Jeff Shearer

I love water! Water polo, Swimming, lifeguarding. I'm a huge music fan, I sing Bass. I'm from Cedar City UT, I'm Mormon & love it!

About Me

I am a water boy! I worked as a lifeguard for almost two years, I played water polo for 8 years, and swam on my high school swim team all four years. I love to sing. I love having awesome Bass power in my voice!! It's pretty darn awesome. I am always having a good time with whatever I happen to be doing at the time, especially when I am with my closest friends. I golf every now and then and have been since I was about 13 years old. Whenever I get together with my closest friends, that is when the good times happen. Crazy adventures, making memories, lovin' life and always having our own kind of party! WOO!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. AKA the Mormon Church. Both of my parents are Mormon and I have grown up being a Mormon. My father is a convert to the church and served a mission to Salt Lake City, Utah and has served in leadership responsibilities in our congregation twice since his conversion. He is currently serving at the head of my ward as bishop. Growing up I have noticed that my non Mormon friends don't seem quite as happy as me or my Mormon friends. They are happy, but they aren't eternally happy. Just like everyone does, I've struggled with a lot of sins. Some more serious than others. But the Atoning power of Jesus Christ that is available to everyone has always comforted me and I know I will always be able to have the opportunity to be forgiven. And I have always found comfort in the Book of Mormon and its teachings.

How I live my faith

I am always striving to do what is right. I am currently serving my LDS mission in the Washington, Everett Mission and I am loving it! I take comfort in the knowledge that I have and I'm always looking for opportunities to share that knowledge with others. Sure I may mess up at times, who doesn't? But knowing that I can be forgiven always helps me feel better! It's pretty bomb.
