Hi I'm Brenda Ethington

I'm a wife, mother of eight, daughter, sister, and grandma of 17, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a mother of 8, grandmother of 17. We are empty nesters now. I attended BYU where I met my husband of 37 years. I love all sports, and played basketball, fast pitch softball, and field hockey in college. I love watching my children and grand children play in their games. I have always been a stay at home Mom, but now I do have a business of my own that I can do at home most of the time. I enjoy being with my friends too, we sometimes do girls trips to the beach and education week at BYU. I love traveling with my family too. My husband and I have a son who was drafted by the Boston Red Sox right after he graduated from high school, so we will be traveling when possible to watch him play.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the church, because my parents are Mormons, although my Dad is a convert. I have always used it as a guide in my life to become a better person. I don't know where I would be without the Gospel. It has been such a great guideline for raising our children, and now my grand children. I know the Book of Mormon is the word of our Heavenly Father, and Jesus Christ just as the Bible is ans I believe this with all my heart.

How I live my faith

I love working in the community with the youth. When my children were at home I coached them in their sports. I teach the 14 years olds in Sunday School now and I love it. I have gone to girls camp for several years in the summer to help with training them in certain skills, and help in the kitchen and been a cabin Mom for years.
