Hi I'm Becca!

My family and friends mean the world to me. I am a starving student. I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints!

About Me

I started choir when I was in sixth grade and stuck with it throughout high school, even though I was never that good at singing solo. As long as I had other people around me to follow, I was great. I found that it felt the same in my church experience, as long as I had good examples and friends to follow, I was set, but I had never really had a testimony of my own. It took about 3 years (off and on) of medical care and one very brave friend to help me see how much of an impact the church has had in my life. Over the past three months, I have built a stronger relationship with my Savior Jesus Christ and my Heavenly Father than I ever had before, and I know I can lay down everything I am dealing with in my life and really get answers if I have enough faith. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the greatest joy I have ever known. I'm proud to say I'm a mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I would say I was born this way, but it's so much more than that. I have grown to feel for myself the endless love of our Heavenly Father for me and for all of his children. It's as simple as the children's song, "I am a child of God". We are all children of our Heavenly Father, who loves us, and I stand as a witness of His miracles every day.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by studying the Bible and the Book of Mormon side by side. I make sure to plan out a half hour a day to devote to this study, and it always amazes me how fast the time passes and how many connections can be made between the books. Sometimes, if I am in a hurry, I just read one verse but try to follow all the footnotes on that verse, and it is always awesome what I can find out!
