Hi I'm Cheryl

I was born with Spastic Querida pelagic cerebral palsy and in a wheelchair for the rest of my life. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Los Angeles, California. I have had a interesting life so far. I have marred then divorced. I have had family member go home to our heavenly Father. I currently attend Cypress College, taking Wedding Videography, a very fun class I might add. When I was born I have Spastic Querida pelagic cerebral palsy and in a wheelchair for the rest of my life. I don't let my mobility get in the way of enjoying life. I am not perfect, I get mostly "A" and "B" in my classes but in my first semester my first class I got a "F", I didn't know at the time that you had to "Withdraw" from a class, op's. You live and learn. I am also a Ham Radio Operator and have used this skill with the Orange County Red Cross.. I have served on the Board of Directors at the Orange County Regional Center. Before I go, I need to say that "Can"t" is not in my vocabulary You can do any thing you want to, if you don;t want to do it, of course it won't happen..

Why I am a Mormon

When I joined the church my life changed for the better. It also gave me understanding about death, so when my Mom and Dad (one month apart) left to be with our Heavenly Father I had the knowledge that family are together forever. I can't wait until I am reunited with them, I know that I wont be in my wheelchair and can have races with them then.

How I live my faith

I am the Ward Historian and am working on a quarterly newspaper called "The Happening". I also am a visiting teacher. I go out once a mouth to visit other members with in our ward and make sure they are OK and find out if there is anything they need help with, if they do then I will visit them more often until the help they need has been complected. I help people with disability since I am in a wheelchair. There is much work needed for the disabled people in America.
