About Me

I am 20 years old. My home town is a small town in Cache Valley Utah. I grew up in Newton Utah, where we know everybody in town. I went to Sky View High School "Go Bobcats". I am highly involved in the Boy Scouts of America (BSA). I'm a Eagle Scout, and a current Vigil member of the Order of the Arrow. I have served on several National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) courses for scouting. I love the outdoors and all it has to offer. I am new to fly fishing and enjoy every chance I get to go. I enjoy High Adventure activities like water rafting, mountin climbing any type of hiking. I Love red rock Utah. I love business and learning about money. I will be going to University in a year for an Masters of Business Administration. (MBA). I love cooking and being with my family and close friends. I Love playing or watching many sports, just before my mission I was a coach for a 12 year old girls Soccer team. I love working on computers. I love mowing lawns and just being outside. I am serving a mission in the Canada Vancouver Mission. I Love being a missionary. I have been so blessed!

Why I am a Mormon

After many trials in my life and concerns and problems I have had. I found myself pondering if there was really a God and if I was loved by him. I found myself seeking more diligently answers to the questions of my soul. I know God answers and hears each one of our prayers and know what we are going through. He blessed me with understanding that I am loved and He is there for me. I know this is the true Gospel of Jesus Christ and is restored in its fullest. I Know Joseph Smith Translated the Book of Mormon by the power of and authority of God. This is why I am on my mission to bring this joyful message to all of Gods children. I love this Gospel with all my heart and “I stand all amazed at the Love Jesus offers me.” I am so grateful to be a member in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am so grateful for a loving Heavenly Father and Savior who have such great love for you, and me. I am so grateful to be a missionary. I am so grateful for the Book of Mormon and the Holly Temple where we are blessed. I know the Prophet Joseph Smith was and is the Prophet of the restoration and we have Prophet today, President Monson. THIS IS WHY I AM MORMON!

How I live my faith

I am serving a LDS Mission in the Canada Vancouver Mission. By helping others to build their faith. And to Invite Others to live the teachings of the Gospel. Also by daily scripture study and learning to apply the teachings so that they may bless my life more fully. I love this wonderful gospel and striving to better is thought as to be a blessing. The greatest way for me is striving to repent always. I am not perfect but I know by the atonement of Jesus Christ I can be forgiven. I am striving to live as the saviour would want me live. To be more charitable and have greater faith.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Adam Aguillon
We are not required to server missions a mission is a voluntary gift of service, we are not paid for our service. We serve wherever the Church calls us. While serving full-time as a missionary, we are official representatives of the Church. Young men serve missions for 2 years starting when we are 18 or older, For young women the can serve a mission starting when they are 19 and serve for 18 months. Many Married couples serve missions.
