Hi I'm Carol

I have been a Mormon sinse September 2007. This was the best decision I've made in my entire adult life.

About Me

I am currently retired after 24 years in grocery retail. I raised my sons and put myself through college receiving my BSBA in management in 2003. I met an incredible man that was LDS and after we started dating I started discussions with missionaries. The missionaries answered all the questions I had about scriptures and was willing to teach me all about the gospel. After the third discussion, I agreed to be baptised. The arrangements were made and I was baptised, confirmed and then surprised everyone there and said we were getting married. What a beautiful day for me.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it is an active religion. We live the gospel. We learn the gospel. We teach the gospel. We learn Christian ways with Jesus Christ at the center of our lives. We strive to be worthy to enter the temple to receive the sacred ordinances. We live standards and teach them to our fellow members and youth. We help those who are struggling. We look after members of our church by visiting them with a spiritual message. We read the Bible as well as The Book of Mormon which is another tesitment of the Bible. We receive blessings from priesthood holders. We really feel good when we come home from church knowing that we served one another like Jesus did in his ministry here on Earth. We know this gospel is true. We are grateful for the restored church and it's leaders who tirelessly lead us into the fold. We believe....We act.....We love..... This church is true...

How I live my faith

I live my faith like I've always invisioned it. We pray everyday and read scriptures regularly. I teach our 6 and 7 year olds in our ward lessons. That is extremely rewarding to see the youth of the church love to come to my class. I have also taught the young women of our church. Teaching them modesty and good morals. We also teach them domestic qualities. I was also the young women camp director. We spent 4 days camping, learning and feeling the spirit of each of these beautiful young women and their leaders. I also work at our temple assisting patrons with their temple experiences helping them feel the spirit that exists there.
