Hi I'm Kyle Hutchings

I grew up in Sacramento, CA. I am a huge sports fan, a accountant and a husband. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Growing up I played every sport under the sun. Basketball, football, volleyball, you name it. Now I play when I can but mostly appreciate the professional level. Along with sports I enjoy disc golf, video and board games, and movies. My wife and I are theater buffs and we also enjoy great food and good company.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was young I wanted to sincerely work on my relationship with my maker. I also wanted answers, purpose and a knowledge of something more then just birth and death. The more I read the gospel and grow in this faith the more I feel that this is true. I know that Christ lives. That he sacrificed himself as a atonement for our sins and that through him we can repent. I know that there is a purpose to life, that we came here to gain bodies and experience and we can return to live with our Heavenly Father as families. That you can be married for time and all eternity and not til death due us part. I know that God loves us just as much as he loved the people in the past, and with that love gives us Prophets, Apostles and teachers to help us. He also blesses us with the Holly Ghost to guide us. I know that while the Bible is a record of God's dealing with men in the East, God also had communications with the people of Ancient Americas and that the Book of Mormon is "Another Testament of Jesus Christ." It doesn't replace the Bible but is a companion to the Bible providing added light and knowledge about Christ, his teachings and about the Gospel. I know that if you were to read it and follow the precepts that the book gives that you can live a happier life. I know that the Church is true. And though we, as humans, have faults and guilt we can repent of our sins through the atonement of Christ.we can return to our Father in Heaven. That obedience brings forth blessings. I love my family, and I love the happiness that comes from living the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

As a member of my ward I help with the youth as a spiritual instructor and Boy Scout Leader. During the week I help with youth group activities we call "mutual" and during the ceremonies on Sunday I help the youth prepare the Sacrament we take (the bread and water) and study group.

How can I find someone to talk with, in person, about the Mormon religion?
