Hi I'm Beth Trammel

I love making the most of every day, I work as a hair stylist, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just recently married my best friend and were enjoying every minute of it. I'm also a recent college graduate. I studied Sociology, Psychology and Child Development with the hopes of one day changing lives for the better. My passion is children. I love children and want to help those that dont have the help they need. I also like to dabble in craft projects. I have a hand in almost everything, from sewing, quilting, crocheting, knitting, to jewelry making, modge podge, and basically everything else.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up Christian, Catholic actually. In my family we went to the Catholic church when I was young, but for some reason we stopped going when I was about twelve. I never lacked faith in God. I always knew he was there. Years went by, and when I was 22 years old, through some amazing friends, I met two Missionaries. They shared with me a message, to be honest I cannot remember at all what it was that they shared with me, all I can remember is the way I felt while they were teaching me. I felt warmth all throughout my body, and I felt as though the words they were speaking were something that I had heard before. At the time, I was young, and thought of myself as tough. I didn't let on to them my interest because I was comfortable with who I was and the life I was living, and didn't think I needed to change. But they kept teaching and I kept listening and feeling that wonderful feeling. Finally, they taught me about Joseph Smith and the story of the restored gospel. I felt spirit of the Lord so strong that afternoon. I knew at that moment that the church is true. I had never known anything more true in my whole life than I had right then. And to this day, six years later, I still without any doubt in my mind know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints is the true church on the earth. It has blessed my life so much to have the gospel to lead me and guide me, to help me know my purpose, and to know that our Heavenly Father has a great plan of happiness for each and everyone of us.

How I live my faith

Over the years, I have gotten really interested in genealogy. I wanted to know more about my ancestors that have passed before me. If it were not for them I would not be here today. My passion caused me to want to share my knowledge with others. While I was in college I had the opportunity to teach others how to access records of their ancestors so they too could know more about their family that came before them. It has been amazing to see all the people in the world that have been searching for their families for generations like I am.
