Hi I'm Eva

I am college freshman majoring in music education. I also enjoy running and photography. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I like to play the violin and piano. My favorite hobby is photography. I like to capture things in the moment. I am also a runner. Running helps me to keep in shape and clear my mind.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because in my heart, I know it's true. When I go to church, I feel the spirit with me. If I'm having a bad day, I can say a prayer, and just like that, I know He's there with me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being an example. Most kids at school swear and talk about innapropriate things. I try my best to ignore this, or to just ask them to stop. I have noticed that people notice if you take a stand for something you believe in, and it impacts them.

Why do Mormons perform proxy baptisms in their temples?

We believe that our families can be together forever through the sealing work of the temple. We do baptisms for the dead to help unite our families. Those who didn't have the chance to learn about and join the church while here on Earth now have the chance to be baptized through proxy. Show more Show less

How does the Church finance its operations?

Each member is asked to pay tithing. Tithing is %10 of our income. We are asked to do this small thing to repay our Heavenly Father for all that he has given us. We are promised that if we faithfully pay our tithing, we will be blessed beyond measure. Show more Show less
