Hi I'm Hilary

I'm a wife, a mother of two little boys, a runner, a harpist, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay-at-home mom, and I love it. I have a wonderful husband and two energetic little boys. I grew up in Utah, but my husband's work transplanted us to Alabama. I like playing with my kids, enjoying the outdoors, and playing my harp.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I have studied the Book of Mormon and prayed to our Heavenly Father to that it is true. I know that this is the only true church, I know that Jesus Christ is our Savior, and I know that the Book of Mormon is a true book of scripture. I am blessed to have parents that are members of this church and taught me the Gospel from a young. They also encouraged my siblings and I to know for our selves that this is Christ's church. I have felt the love that my Heavenly Father and my Savior have for me. I know that if I follow their commandments I will be happy, forever. I know that I can be married to my husband for all eternity, and that my family will be forever. I have peace in my life, and purpose, because I know that I am a child of God. Because of my testimony I have happiness in my life now, even though I go through hard times.

How I live my faith

I try every day to follow the example of our Savior Jesus Christ, and do try my best. I'm happiest when I'm helping others, and am so grateful the Church gives me many opportunities to do so. In my local congregation I teach a sunday school class for those new to our church or those who are interested in learning more about our faith. I love sharing my testimony with new people, and help them find the joy and peace the Gospel brings. However, the greatest satisfaction I get is teaching my children about Jesus Christ. Every day we pray and study the scriptures together so that we can grow closer as a family, and closer to our Heavenly Father.
