Hi I'm Brianna

I have grown up in Utah and just received my mission call to the West Indies. I'm a Mormon and grateful for it!

About Me

I am a current college student and Weber State University going into elementary education. I love children and camping. I work part-time and attend school full-time. I received the call to serve a mission in the West Indies Mission and report to the MTC February 13th!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I can feel with every part of my soul that there is a loving Heavenly Father who knows us and loves us. I personally feel His love for me. The feelings that I feel as I go to the temple, attend church, and live as I am taught, cannot be denied. I know within my heart that what I read from the scriptures and hear from the prophet are truth. Not because I was raised in the religion but because I questioned for myself. I have studied it out in my mind and pondered it in my heart and I know it is true. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I love serving others. I help organize activities for the ladies in the church. We have done giving trees, bonded together, and had inspiring speakers come. I also am involved on a service committee and we plan service activities and try to find anyone in need and help out. I love visiting the ladies around my neighborhood and meeting new people to make friends with. The more people I meet, the more my eyes are opened to how many people need that extra smile and hand to lift them up and their spirits up. I know that Christ is my Savior and I strive to do as He would. He would be out serving others and helping others whenever He could. I have been called to serve a mission in the West Indies Mission and I believe that a loving father in heaven loves his children and I hope that by being kind and serving others that everyone can feel of that love. The more I do for others, the happier I am. I love when others know that someone else cares about their struggles and worries. Not only are there people out there to help lift our burdens but also a God who will never leave you lonely. When we turn to Him, he will not leave us comfortless.

What do Mormons believe about the Holy Ghost? Who is the Holy Ghost?

The Holy Ghost is a divine gift from God. The Holy Ghost is a member of the Godhead and can dwell in us if we are willing to strive to follow God's commandments. We believe and I bear testimony that the Holy Ghost testifies of truth. He is how I came to gain a testimony of this gospel. I feel and know in my heart that it is true and it is an undeniable feeling. The Holy Ghost also comforts and sooths my soul when it is troubled. When you open your heart and with sincerity ask our Heavenly Father in prayer if the Book of Mormon is true or this gospel then the Holy Ghost will bear witness to you. It is the most wonderful feeling and I try to live my life so that I can always keep the Holy Ghost as my constant companion. Show more Show less
