Hi I'm Paul

I'm a Morman

About Me

I was visited by Church Missionaries in Indiana in 1958. My wife had decided that we were not being very good parents(had two small children) At the time, and I was drinking heavely, and did not feel the spirit. But the two Missionaries persisted, and after several visits, my Wife went thru the necessary steps to become a member. That included repentance ,baptism. She and the missionaries were then able to help me stop drinking, and I finally repented and also was baptised. I bare my testimony that the church is true, and the restored gospel of Jesus Christ is now here in these latter days. Since becoming a member, my life has been rewarding. I became a prominent Defense contract Engineering Manager, working on key Military Avionics supporting the troops. I am now retired and running a cabinet shop, replicating and restoring heirlooms My past time is spent surfing the web, reading mystery novels, planting a garden and cooking.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe in the restored church in these later days, as being the only true church of Jesus Christ

How I live my faith

I study the gospel, pray for the Lord to guide me, attend my church meetings, and enjoy priesthood fellowship. I attend the Temple as often as possible.

Why do Mormons perform proxy baptisms in their temples?

We are taught that if we live worthily, we will go to the Celestial Kingdom. We have the opportunity to do the necessary ordinances for our ancestors, so the they can accept the gospel and join us in heaven. Show more Show less
