Hi I'm Clair

Born into a military family, raised in an LDS family, I settled in Utah and raised 7 children. Glad to say I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I started out just wanting to play in rock and roll bands all my life - and did so until I held my first child and realized I also had some higher purposes. Being raised LDS but not really appreciating much about it, I was drawn into looking harder and immediately found there was a Heavenly parent ready to communicate with me. He carefully guided me through many years of discovery, testing, faith and best of all - blessings.

Why I am a Mormon

We sometimes ask members "Who is a convert?" I always sense that all of us (including those born into the faith) need to raise our hand. Certainly goes for me. Though born into the LDS faith, I needed to be converted, and finding my youthful years much too neutral, I then found that when I put my faith into it, the things our LDS faith were doing - helping out everywhere possible, teaching us to emulate the Savior, doing work for those who have passed on, honoring our heritage, honoring Prophets and apostles, learning to serve at all times just came together and whispered firmly "this is true!".

How I live my faith

I have served now as scoutmaster, choir director, clerk, group leader, and like all members, I am responsible to visit regularly with other members of our congregation and watch for opportunities be of assistance to them. I have really enjoyed all these occasions to be of service because of how it has enlarged my capacity to care and interact - do some good.
