Hi I'm Kylee Peterson

I've lived my whole life in Utah. I love people. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am preparing to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I love helping people, especially old people. I've been a CNA for the last 3 years and hope to continue with nursing education after my mission. I love to scrapbook in my spare time and always love a good movie that can make me laugh or cry. I have one little sister that is the greatest, funniest little thing in the world! And I have the coolest parents that love and support me no matter what I do!

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I've always been raised in the church, there was a confusing moment in my life, around high school age, when I wondered if the church was true. I veered off of the path that I knew was right and I tried to question the standards that I'd set as a child in primary and as a youth in young women's. After a few years of ultimate sorrow and due to the influence of great women in my ward that fulfilled their responsibilities as visiting teachers, I came back into activity in the church. I was able to understand more fully the Atonement of my Savior, Jesus Christ. I was able to see the night and day difference between the artificial happiness I thought I had when I was living according to the world's standards and the pure happiness that I felt living up to the standards I'd formed for myself growing up as a Mormon, and had re-instated after I came to an awakened realization of the truth in my life. I'm a Mormon because there is no other way whereby I can feel my Savior's love more fully than by living up to the commandments, values, and standards set in this great and marvelous church!

How I live my faith

I am currently in an amazing young single adult ward and I absolutely love it! I have enjoyed working so closely with so many people my age, especially the women. The visiting teaching program is amazing because everyone always has a friend; someone to look after them. I have received so much support from so many of these amazing people I worship with and am so grateful to be able to call them my friends, and even greater, my brothers and sisters.
