Hi I'm Jenny

I am serving a full-time mission in Los Angeles for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I'm a Mormon. And I love it!

About Me

I am serving a mission in Los Angeles to share the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ! I am a tennis fanatic! I love photography and visiting new places. I love hiking and camping. I love all sports. I like running (or rather the feeling when I finish a run). I love singing and dancing. I love music. I'm a night owl and a morning bird. I love eating cereal while watching cheesy hallmark movies. Anything Disney is good. I am blessed to be able to say that my best friends in the world are the members of my family!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church but I am daily converted to this gospel. The blessings it has brought into my life are immeasurable and I feel inadaquate to try to describe it. I truly have come to know of my Father in Heaven's great love for me and for each of my brothers and sisters in the gospel. I cannot begin to express my gratitude for my Savior Jesus Christ and His Atonement. I have felt the ability the Atonement has to wipe away my sins, to heal my heartaches and to strengthen my weaknesses. I am so grateful for the knowledge that family is eternal and that I can be with those I love forever. The gospel is the reason behind everything I do and is the focus of everything I hope to do in the future. I do not know all things; not even close! But I do know that God lives and loves us. I know the gospel is true. And knowing that is enough for now!

How I live my faith

The gospel isn't so much a "religion" to me as it is a way of living and being. I know that my purpose here on earth is to become like our Savior Jesus Christ. I try to make every decision based off that knowledge. I feel that the faith a person has should be visible in who that person is. I wear my testimony on my sleeve. My faith in Christ influences who I am in school, at work, at church, at home, at play :)
