Hi I'm Kim

I grew up on a wheat farm on a hill near Idaho Falls, ID. I became a corporate lawyer & business man. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm happily married and I'm a dad. My wife and I have three sons and one daughter. My family is most dear to me. I've spent the majority of my career as a businessman in the computer software world. I've also practiced some 'corporate law' along the way. As a little boy & young man I loved to play lots of different sports, though I wasn't very good at any of them. I still like to play a lot of different sports -but I only participate now in sports that our family likes to do together, like water and snow skiing and hiking. We also like to travel to places together as a family ... and at times one-on-one (example: dad with a son - mom with our daughter) We remain close and involved with our extended families, and cherish our extended family bonds. We love our community neighbors. They are so good to our family. We try to be good neighbors back to them. This makes 'home' a great place to live ... and 'sacred ground' in the sense that raising our children "up unto" the Lord will be the most important thing we ever do as parents.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a Mormon, by lineage. Humbly, I now realize this was a wonderful blessing Heaven blessed me with. But ... I'm a conscious and devout Mormon because I came to know through sincere and searching prayer -and through the responsive whispering and confirmation of the Holy Ghost to me- that Jesus is indeed the Christ; that He personally restored His Church to the earth in our day as a blessing for all of us who sincerely desire to embrace and follow Him. One of the greatest doctrines the Lord has revealed to us now is the nature and potential for us to become an eternal family with those most dear and beloved to us.

How I live my faith

Coming home from my mission I prayerfully covenanted with the Lord that I would do whatever He asked of me in the Church. I've served over the years a few different callings. Currently, I'm the Ward Mission Leader in our Ward ... and I'm making a little bit more of an effort now, than before, to be an active and good friend to my neighbors. I love to help them when I see an opportunity. I also help out at our local Mormon temple every Wed third shift.

Are Mormons Christians?

Kim
We believe in Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of our Father in Heaven. We believe in His atonement --available to all who desire to repent of sin, forsake sin, and follow His gospel teachings. Though others may claim that I am not a Christian, I know my redeemer and savior is Jesus Christ ... and I share with you my humble solemn loving witness this is true. Show more Show less
