Hi I'm Brock

I am from Idaho. I am a geologist. I'm Mormon.

About Me

I am a graduate student in geology at Texas A&M University. I love to learn about the earth. When I am not in school-mode I like to play racquetball, rock climb and cook.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know that Book of Mormon is the word of God and that its translator, Joseph Smith, was inspired by God to bring it to the world in our day. Having this knowledge, I cannot help but be a Mormon. I gained this knowledge by asking God for wisdom and direction and then reading and living the teachings in the Book of Mormon. As I continually invest in this process I receive blessings and become a happier person --that's how I know it's true.

How I live my faith

I serve on a student council for a Latter-day Saint Student Organization at Texas A&M University. We hold weekly scripture studies and lunches as well as plan 3-4 larger activities each semester that include social gatherings and service opportunities.
