Hi I'm Gina P.

"I'm a Mom and a Grandma. I'm a Mormon"

About Me

Im 47 years old and I love the ocean and all it's inhabitants. That's why I love to scuba dive all over the world. I have a bucket list of sea creatures I want to see and have worked my way down the list. I have since added to the list and it is getting longer.

Why I am a Mormon

Five years ago my son converted and went on a two year mission to Scotland. When he returned, his example and the support I received from the church while he was away made me rethink about my own conversion. I attended church and felt such a strong spirit, something I had never experienced in a church before. I knew this was the true church. I prayed about it and was baptised a month later. I thank my son for his great example of a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I enjoy attending church every sunday. I look forward to my ward family and seeing their smiling faces, it makes the day brighter. I enjoyed visiting members and being there when they need help. But most of all enjoy feeding the missionaries.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Gina P.
A testimony is a spiritual witness given to an individual by the Holy Ghost. The foundation of a Mormon’s testimony is the knowledge that Heavenly Father lives and loves us; that Jesus Christ lives, that He is the Son of God, and that He carried out the infinite Atonement; that Joseph Smith is a prophet, which God called to restore Jesus Christ’s church to the earth; that we are led today by a living prophet; and that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the Savior’s Church restored on the earth today.
