Hi I'm Ronnie

I'm a retired. I'm a handyman. I like cars and trains. I've been married for 51 years. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a retired grandfather. I worked in maintenance at a chemical plant for 38 years. I enjoy working with my hands. I've built street rods, a few homes, restored antiques, and I have model trains. I love auctions and pawn shops. I like to make a good deal. I have four kids, 20 grandkids, and 4 1/2 great-grandkids. My wife and I have been married for 51 years.

Why I am a Mormon

My grandparents and my mother were members of the Church. My father joined when I was a teenager. After I got older I read and studied on my own and gained a testimony. My mother and my father had testimonies, but we all have to gain our own testimony. I know that the Church has the fulness of the Gospel. All the keys and powers were restored to help us return to live with our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I realize that we have to stive to live worthy to receive these blessings.

How I live my faith

I am currently responsible for the missionary work that goes on at our local church. A few years back, my wife and I served a mission in Kirtland, Ohio. While there, I maintained 23 buildings including missionary homes, historical buildings, and the Visitor's Center. We have also been able to serve at the Houston Temple. Each month, I am responsible to visit families that are assigned to me and check up on their temporal and spiritual needs. It makes me feel good to be able to serve them.
