Hi I'm Nick

I am an early morning seminary graduate, I love the outdoors, I love playing guitar, and I love being a Mormon!

About Me

I grew up in the mountains of Utah, I learned to love at a young age exploring the mountains via hiking or atv riding or camping. I love to play Guitar. Growing up in Utah (and in the LDS church) I have a strong love of family (my family especially) and the true restored gospel on the earth today. When I was young I was diagnosed with Juvenile Onset Diabetes (type 1) and I don't have many memories of living life with out it. There came a time in my life when my diabetes grew out of control, and I started to see the results of living my life carelessly. It was only through the power of prayer and my Father in Heavens help that I could change. I know now that the lord does more than just helps with the spiritual things. I know that the power of prayer can change circumstances and change lives. I believe without any doubt that this is the true church. I am a mountain explorer, I'm a guitar player, im a diabetic and above all else I'm a Mormon!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon for one reason; I love God! in its simplest form, thats why I attend my meetings every sunday (and through out the week). Because I love God, I strive every day to live my life worthily and follow the commandments so that one day I can be perfected in Christ and return home to live with Him again. This is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I love my callings in the church! My favorite is being a home teacher, helping families learn and grow and come closer to each other and to their Father in Heaven is what the Savior wants me to do, by following the Saviors plan for me I grow and learn and come closer unto Him as well. As a holder of the Lords restored priesthood I have been comissioned to love and serve my fellow man, I do this by serving as a home teacher and soon to be serving as a full time missionary. My personal calling is being a son of my Heavenly Father, as such I need to be willing and worthy in all times, and in all things, and in all places to serve my Savior and Father in Heaven. I try to do this every day by reading the Book Of Mormon, and by praying to my Father in Heaven.

What is the priesthood?

The priesthood is the power and authority to act in God's name, this being predicated upon by your worthiness. As members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and as priesthood holders, we use this authority to serve our fellow man and by giving comfort to those in need. Show more Show less
