Hi I'm Tanja Watts

"I grew up in Oregon. I'm an amateur oil painter and I'm a Mormon."

About Me

I'm a wife, mother, and a volunteer in my community. I enjoy photography, oil painting, gardening, hiking, and spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I've experienced a witness to my soul that God loves me, that I am His child; because of this witness, I know God has a plan for me. I know God sent His Son to atone for the sins of the world. He has not left us in darkness, we are not alone. He has given us His son to show us the way. We have the light of the restored Gospel of Christ to guide us back home. God loves His children, He answers prayers, He's answered mine as well as Joseph Smith's prayer. He will answer your prayer. "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. James 1:5. In answer to Joseph's prayer, God and His son Jesus Christ appeared to him. The light of the Gospel is here to guide us; revelation continues today, and prayers are answered. "And this is life eternal that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. John 17:3. I'm grateful God gives us guidance through His scriptures, the Bible and the Book of Mormon, which contains the prophecies and words of ancient people on this continent. Because I know God answers prayers, I know His church has been restored. That's why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I volunteer at my local elementary and junior high school, and serve as a Cub Scout leader.
