Hi I'm Amber

I am a mormon.

About Me

I am married and have four awesome sons, an angel daughter-in-law, and two active and funny grandsons. I have a degree in Health Care Administration. I am not working now, but I stay busy taking care of my home, family, and church responsiblities. I look forward to going back to work some day as a nursing home adminstrator so that I can gain more wisdom from my elders and associate with the people I love to be with.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a mormon family and have a rich heritage of grandparents who sacrificed their homes, valuables, and sometimes their lives for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. So it makes sense that I would continue that great heritage. But there is more than that. Before I made the decision to be baptized at the age of 8, I knew in my heart and spirit that I had a Father in Heaven and brother Jesus Christ who loved me and were always close by. I have always known that they were there for me no matter what and knew the teachings I learned in my youth were correct and true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by focusing on my relationship with my Father in Heaven, Savior, family, and friends. Each day I try to see the blessings in my life from these relationships and the great love that is shared. I have the honor and privielge to serve with almost 250 young women between the ages of 12 and 18. These beautiful young women, their leaders, and my family bring the greatest joy into my life. I want them to know what a powerful force for good they are as individuals and together. Sometimes I worry that they don't recognize their remarkable gifts and talents and the ability they have to do so much good in the world. I love them so much and pray for them daily.
