Hi I'm Diego Alfaro

I live in California. I love Formula One and other forms of racing. And I'm a Mormon

About Me

I have always known what I wanted to do. I want to become a mechanical engineer as a hopeful addition to a high profile Formula One team. I've always enjoyed most forms of racing. I'm also an aviation enthusiast. I've also had a love for music as well. I grew up with the great New Wave classics like Oingo Boingo, Talking Heads, and Devo. I'm also into good films, growing up with the classics by Spielberg and Kubrick I am currently (or was) going to college to pursue engineering (all of this, of course, before I received my mission call :)

Why I am a Mormon

Because I know God lives. I simply cannot deny it. This is God's true church on Earth. I know for myself that He exists, and that he has a plan for us. Sure I may have grown up in the church my entire life, but everywhere else I look, I find it reconfirmed just how much sense the church makes. That's one of the fascinating about the church: The gospel just makes sense, and I find its beautiful and simple logic is just amazing. I know I have felt the hand of God in my life, so I simply cannot deny His word and His true church.

How I live my faith

I've always believed that my privilege of holding the priesthood is of utmost important to my salvation. Every opportunity that I have, I use my priesthood power to bless the lives of others. It is a wonderful thing to have, to be able to improve the lives of others with power granted to me by Heavenly Father. I also love serving with the missionaries. The few times that I have been able to teach alongside the missionaries have always been fun and very fulfilling. And I know that I am blessed for my work.
