Hi I'm Nettie

I am a mormon and am happy to say that I was raised in an all mormon family in Mesa Arizona

About Me

I come from a large family of 5 brothers and 2 sisters. My mother and father were great examples of a good christian lifestyle. I now am married and have 6 children of my own. My husband and I are trying to make our home a safe place for the family and all those around us. I didn't finish my college education but do have a successful career that is flexable with my homelife. I have 3 grandkids so far, one of them is near by us, and the other 2 are far away in Utah. I cry often when I leave family or family leaves me. My spouse is ready to retire and move closer to family.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a mormon since my 8th birthday took place and it has been a strength to me when applyng lifes trials and tribulations. It is hard being a mormon in todays world of troubles. But it always holds true and doesn't change. The gospel to me is what keeps me going. I want to have my family with me forever and eternally. When I attend the temple to help those who have gone before me, it makes me feel and know the real values that have been taught me are good and wholesome. When I have good times, I always have the Lord to share them with, and when there is a trial that seems to big for me to handle, I know again I have the Lord to confide in and he will lift me up. I have had experiences that have caused my testimony to shake and crumble at times, but then it makes me stronger when i feel my saviours love for me. He hears me, he knows me, and best of all he loves me unconditionally. I know I am a child of God and I am choosing to serve him and be happy through service. My prayer for my family is that we all can be as one after this trial of earth life.

How I live my faith

For many years of my adult life I have been involved with the youth of our church. This includes the girls and boys of ages 12 to 18 years of age. I love them and they love me. We have had trips, service activities, fund raisers and the usual meetings filled with love and laughter. I am now in a calling that is for just the women of the church over the age of 18. I do miss the youth, but since I am getting up in years, I guess it is best for me to associate with the older women more. We do enjoy many tears as we learn from each other and yet we laught as well when things are funny. Everyone is different and thats what makes the group so pleasant to spend time with. My goal soon to come true I pray, is that I can serve a mission as my husband and most of my sons did. There is many types of missions and I am sure I can qualify for one some day in the near future.
