Hi I'm Dallin

I love motorcycles, cycling, and mountain biking! And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm from Orange County California but am currently studying at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. I like to spend a lot of time outdoors staying active and having fun. Seven months ago I returned from serving a church mission in the country of Armenia! I loved it and am hoping to return soon. In the meantime I am studying Manufacturing Engineering and participating in the Army ROTC program.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I'm far from perfect and I know I need my Savior, Jesus Christ, in order to change and improve. Through reading and studying the Bible and the Book of Mormon, as well as the teachings of church leaders, I learn so much about who Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are. Striving to live those things that I learn has brought me close to them and allowed me to grow my personal relationship with them. I have been given many opportunities to share this with others and to watch them change their lives for the better, which brings me more joy than anything else.

How I live my faith

Overtime my faith and my beliefs have become an integrated part of my everyday life. The Lord expects me to be a nice, good person so that is what I'm trying to do. Everyone comes from a different background and has had different experiences in life so I think it's very important to see things from others' point of view and work to understand each other. I love one verse of scripture that says, "by small and simple things are great things brought to pass" (Book of Mormon, p. 300). Each day I try to do one small and simple thing better than I did the day before and that helps me remember who I am and what I'm striving for.
