Hi I'm Angela Rivera

I play the cello. I going on a mission to Spain. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have lived in multiple states and went to four different high schools. I enjoy playing the cello and I hope to continue studying in college. My family is small, consisting of my mom, dad, and younger sister. In February 2017, I am leaving to Spain for 18 months for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Why I am a Mormon

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has been a wonderful blessing in my life. Following Heavenly Father's commandments has not been easy or the most popular thing, especially during my high school years, but it has brought me much guidance and peace. The gospel has brought me so much understanding, and as I continue to study the Bible and the Book of Mormon, I am able to learn more about God's plan for me.

How I live my faith

In my ward, I serve in the nursery. I look after children who are about 18-24 months and teach them basic gospel lessons with another sister in the ward. This is my first calling outside of the youth program (12-18 years), and I am enjoying it greatly. Teaching small children brings so much joy each Sunday, even if they can be a handful. :)
