Hi I'm Bethany

I grew up in Oregon and Idaho. I'm a college student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up being the fifth child of ten in my family. As a kid I grew up on a farm. We had a beautiful garden and lots of animals and we all worked hard. My family was big into band and orchestra so I naturally learned an instrument. I learned to play the flute, it wasn't easy at all but with a lot of practicing and hard work I was able to play it well. In high school my freshman year I joined the dance team. I had never really danced before and knew nothing about it but I fell in love with it. I love all types of dance but I favor hip hop and Latin dancing. Right now in my life I'm a college student and I'm loving every minute of it. I'm not sure what my major is yet but I know I'll figure it out.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church. Some people might think the only reason why I stay in the church is because that's what I'm familiar with and I don't know anything different. Well no, that is not the reason why I've chosen to stay a Mormon. When I was about thirteen I chose to read the entire Book of Mormon and then pray about it. It took me a long time to read it, but I eventually finished it. I then prayed to know if it was true, and when I asked I received a wonderful feeling in my heart and I knew it was true. I know I'm not perfect and I've had trials in my life and struggled with things often, but every time I struggle I turn to my Heavenly Father and do my best to live His gospel. When I do that, I am able to get through my struggles with His help. I know the gospel is true. That's why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending my church meetings and activities. I also try to live an honest life by being the best I can be in word and deed and being an example to anyone who sees me.
