Hi I'm Spencer

I enjoy geocaching and getting outdoors and I am a student at Dixie State University in St. George, Utah, I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently attending Dixie State University in St. George, Utah. I am studying communication with a digital media emphasis hope to get into either the film or TV industry when I am finished. My wife and I have been married for thirteen years. Currently my wife and I live in St. George, Utah with family while going to school. St. George is a great place to live. I enjoy a fun hobby called geocaching. It is a fun activity that anyone can do with family and friends. It is a great way to explore different area in which you travel and live nearby.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a Mormon. Growing up as a Mormon in Utah wasn't that different. Here in Utah the church is everywhere. A lot of the people you meet are Mormons, so it really gives you a sense of belonging. With having such a strong foundation in the church, I have had to gain my own firm understanding for myself that the church is true. I have had many experiences that have been sacred to me. I will always remember visiting a church history site in upstate New York, the Peter Whitmer farm. While there taking a tour of the small Peter Whitmer home, I felt this inner peace, that confirmed to me that the history of the area was true. Joseph Smith was a true prophet and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the only true and living church on earth today.

How I live my faith

Prayer is a very important part of our daily life. There is a real power in prayer. When you know that you can talk to your Heavenly Father in prayer, it gives you strength to handle the challenges in life. I have a strong testimony that prayer helps us to become closer to God.
